Rosiserli Summer Collections 2013

Dear all, I'm back on track ;). I wasn't really in the mood to post anything for a while since I went through some hard life decisions and minor dental surgery, so even if I wanted to I wasn't really in good shape for photos. But previous week my best friend and I took an afternoon just for ourselfs, enjoyed some spritz aperol and visited one of my favorite shops. OMG, how many beautiful pieces they have, there is so many prints this season and I love to mix them up, like I mixed Stella McCartney blouse (also available here) with Balenciaga jeans. And this bright red Givenchy Antigona is gorgeous. I am really not a person for red color, actually I just own a pair of red jeans which I bought last year, but before that you couldn't find anything red in my closet.
And girls I advise you, take your best friend, go for a spritz aperol and on a hunt for your favorite spring summer piece :) xoxo

Santa's Wishlist

Christmas is just around the corner, so I wanted to share with you my unrealistic wishlist like I did last year :). I just love to do combinations in my head, sometimes that alone is enough for me, I don't need to buy it. I have been looking at this top for ages and maybe now that it's on sale is the time to buy it. I would like to have something in burgundy red this year, a pair of jeans would be perfect and I would match them with Margiela coat. This Miu Miu bag is also in the back of my mind for a long time now, maybe it will look familiar to you from my Rosiserli Wishlist post.  I wouldn't mind the Isabel Marant boots, though they are hard to find these days. A coctail ring is a must for me when I go out, at least for the last few years. This is my fashion and fashion is my passion. But what I really wish for my family and all of you my dear readers is to be healthy and to love each other. Love is all we need. And don't forget the most important thing. Love yourself first! Isabel Marant Bayley Wedge Sneakers

Since a lot of you were asking me about my new Isabel Marant wedge sneakers on my instagram, facebook and e-mail, I decided to do this post for you. Bayle suede wedge sneakers keep getting sold out immediately after they come out. I couldn't decide which color to pick for the last couple of months and than all of a sudden all the colors were sold out. Now I know why, cause the most beautiful pair was waiting for me :) I have my models in Milan, Paris and New York and they couldn't find them anywhere. But just yesterday they got a lot of new pairs at LuisaViaRoma, you can't find the exact one like mine, but they have a lot of other different styles. I hope it helps! I bought myself a pair for Christmas. My Santa came early this year. :) Much Love! xx

Rosiserli Wishlist

I went to Trieste during last week and visited one of my favorite shops there. You can always find something for yourself in Rosiserli. I picked out my top 5 wishlist. Balenciaga suede dress in navy color is something I would pair with Miu Miu sneakers for everyday look, or you can just pop on some heels and wear it for evening. This Miu Miu bag is one of my favorites for this season, and I'm going to write a letter to Santa for this beautiful Rick Owens jacket. :) Martina also showed me these gorgeous earrings from MSGM that you can wear for the day or the evening and they are so beautifully made. Fashion Week Day Two

Collection by Dajana Ljubicic is what I was waiting for the last 2 days. Most of the collection is done with python prints, not the cheap ones, but the kind I would gladly wear. There are also some simple pieces but made extaordinarly. I would wear anything from her collection, I can say it was the best I've seen so far. But we still have one more day left and let's see what some of my fave slovenian designers prepared for us.

Little Fashion Gallery

Little Fashion Gallery is my favorite webshop for children's clothing. They stock all children's brands I adore, from Album di Famiglia, Finger in the Nose to Little Marc Jacobs to name a few. If I had enormous amounts of money I would probably be spending it on kid's clothing at LFG all the time. Forest Green

Do you remember my Summer Wishlist? I did something similar today. Well it's not really a wishlist more a selection of some pieces I like and wanna share with you. Last few weeks I have been looking at the new collections and it's all about forest green and burgundy red this fall. I have to tell you that in three weeks my choice would probably be completely different, and that is also the reason why I like to take my time with things I buy and sleep over it.
I love Schourouk jewelry, a brand I discovered just recently. And Victoria Beckham is only getting better and better. I think she has really proven herself in the fashion world. Not everybody had confidence in her, but she did and I respect all her will and courage. I also love to wear Alexander Wang and Rick Owens for everyday. I usually invest in basic pieces like T- shirts and leather jackets. Some years ago I wanted to only buy Lanvin all the time, but now I've grown out of it, though I still wouldn't mind this coat (it doesn't really show on the screen but it's in a deep green color). I just think the price is so exaggerated!

Missoni Havaianas

Summertime is coming and let me tell you, flip flops are my "partner in crime" through the whole summer. I actually live in them. But not just any flip flops, particular ones - Havaianas. My kids also wear them all the time. I discovered them around 10 years ago and from that time on I'm not buying any others for going to the beach, I love them. I've actually been buying the same type all this time, black or white ones with Brazilian flag, cause I can match them with any outfit. But I think this Missoni ones are gonna end up on my feet eventually ;)

The Row

Resort 2013 shows are going on at the moment. A cruise collection or resort collection, sometimes also referred to as holiday or travel collection is an inter-season or pre-season line of ready-to-wear clothing produced by a fashion house or brand in addition to the regular twice-yearly seasonal collections at the fashion shows in New York, London, Paris and Milan.
Here are some of my favorite looks. Or actually separate pieces. I would mix them up in my own style, though some of the pieces are real standouts, but some are just simple, which is yummy for everyday fashion for me ;)

Bionda Castana Clutch

The other day I was at the the hairdressers flipping through magazines and I saw this look. I really adore it, it's so me. My eyes were drawn to this beautiful Bionda Castana big clutch in this brown/mustard color. I've heard about the brand before but I didn't know much about it. Despite its Italian name - meaning Blonde Brunette, Bionda Castana is created by London girls Jennifer Portman and Natalia Barbieri, but it is handcrafted in a family-owned factory in Italy. Established in 2007, the label is known for its unapologetically glamorous yet wearable designs. Feminine shapes with harder detailing - from studs and zips to buckles - are its signature aesthetic, and epitomise the Bionda Castana customer. "We're not the kind of designers who feel we have to explain our collections in order for them to sell," Jennifer and Natalia said. " I totally agree with them, the pieces speak for themselves and especially this clutch, which is for me a MUST for the upcoming autumn.

Monica Vinader Bracelet

My best friend and I haven't seen each other for past two weeks, so we made plans to meet yesterday and also celebrate my birthday, cause we hadn't had a chance before. I didn't have a nanny, so she came to my place and we opened a bottle of champagne and had a loooong talk. And guess what she got me for my present? Remember the post in which I was telling you about jewelry I like? She gifted me with the bracelet I really wished for! That was such a nice present. I couldn't stop crying, I can't help it but I love surprises :)

Balenciaga Surprise

I took a quick trip to Trieste today with my friend Ljubinka. I am using some facial creams that they only hold in Pharmacies in Italy. So when I run out, there's no other way but to hop in the car and drive all the way to Trieste. Not actually a big deal for me, as one of my favorite shops is also there :). Although I told myself in the morning, no spending for me today ;), I wouldn't be myself if I didn't just check out the shop and see what is new. I immediately fell in love with this Balenciaga T-shirt. It is one of my favorite brands anyways and I just couldn't leave it there. I was trying to resist and than my friend Ljubinka says,"this is your birthday present from me". I was like WHAT?! Really a nice gesture from her. Thank you, again, my dear Ljubinka! xx

Summer Wishlist

All the buzz in the office settled down a bit today, as all the preparation boils down to todays show at High school for Design and Photography (SŠOF) and tomorrows at Metropol, where you'll be able to see our beautiful girls walk the runway.
What else is there to do on a gray day like today, than dream about summertime and all the beautiful clothes to wear when tanned :) As I already mentioned, I always like to wear Wildfox T-shirts, cause they are not too expensive, they look great and feel so soft against the skin. Every year I buy a couple of them and then spend the whole summer in them. J Brand star shorts are a perfect match for the beach, acompanied with Boys + Arrows swim suit, Miu Miu phone case, Balenciaga bracelet and pouch, Victoria Beckham sunglasses and Guiseppe Zanotti sandals. They have so many beautiful shoes in this years collection. My friend Ana told me to check it out and I have to agree with her. And Victoria Beckham sunglasses?! All her glasses are a piece of art, handmade and great to wear. Chanel bags have always been my favorite, though I'm still waiting for my first one. But I'm working so hard, that I know one day it will be mine :).

Another kids fashion online store I really like to shop at is Smallable. There you can find anything, from clothes to furniture and also great toys, that are not only great for play but also look good, which is important to me. I just can't stand plastic toys. I'd rather my kids have one really good quality one, than five plastic ones for the same amount of money. The great thing is, that if you register and become their member, you have access to private sales in the mid season, and you can save a lot of money. I am talking huge sales, not 10%.
I just got a package from them in the mail today, and this is what I chose for my two little angels. I love to unwrap packages :) For Isabela I got a skirt and a headband in mustard color, by the way I love this color, and for Aleksander two T-shirts. One from Finger in the nose (this name is so adorable and the label itself is so trendy and comfortable) and the other from Tuss, which is a scandinavian brand with a moto "less is more". I couldn't agree more. Tuss clothes are simple and practical, but still very sofisticated and stylish. Can't wait to throw everything in the washing machine and see my kids wearing it ;)

Birthday Wishlist

My birthday is coming, oh yeah ;) Here is my semi-unrealistic wishlist, or how can I say... things I can't buy, but it's good to dream right? What would we do if we didn't have dreams ;) T-shirts are a must every season for me, I like to wear the ones with prints, accompanied with jean shorts, so I can run after my kids and play with them on the beach. This Marcus Lupfer would be just perfect. The Row sunglasses are totally sold out, but I can't get them out of my head. When I saw them on the internet, I said to myself I'll wait it out and think it over and than it was too late. I always need time to sleep on it with things I wanna buy. I'm not an impulse buyer, who has stuff in their closet and doesn't even wear it once. It doesn't happen to me. I have to think if I have something to match at home, or I need the whole new outfit if I buy a new piece. Another great thing is they sell Hermes watches in Slovenia now. And what do you think about Enza Costa pleated skirt? I own a black similar one from another designer and wear it a lot. Just love the fluttering feeling around my body. Red is usually not my colour, but I wouldn't mind this piece ;)

A lot of you are asking me where I find my jewelry. For me the key to every perfect outfit is jewelry. I am a fan of small jewelry for everyday, usually I am wearing my engagement and wedding ring, but for events I like to experiment with big bold pieces. Big rings, big cuffs, big necklaces. I adore Mawi, Tom Binns, Erickson Beamon... I'm usually waiting for discount sales (the final ones :)) at the end of the season, when I can get great jewelry at reasonable prices. And also when travelling I always invest in a great piece or two. Usually I find them in vintage shops, last year I found a great place in Ibiza, Soho in NY is a place where you can always find something special. That is where I found my last two rings and paid just 40$ for both of them. If I had money to spend, here are 3 pieces on my wishlist at the moment. Atelier VJ ring is simple and clean but still special, Monika Vinader Fiji bracelet would go perfectly with my Fendi bracelet and a watch, Tom Binns Splash Out necklace has all the colours of the season and would be a perfect match with my orange lipstick and MSGM neon pants I wore for the first day of Fashion week. Who knows maybe they will wait for me ;)
